My opinion about the book "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte In summer about three years ago I read "Jane Eyre". At first I read the book on Russian. But now I have begun to read the English version. The book is written by the well-known English writer Charlotte Bronte. It is an autobiography which was published in 1847. The plot of the book is very exiting and rather intricate too. It tells us about Jane Eyre, the main character of the book, who had a difficult childhood. I cannot say that the book is only about Jane Eyre and her life. It is also about true love, good and bad people and incredibly trials and troubles of life . Jane Eyre was a young, intelligent, discrete and strongly principled woman whos parents died when she was a little child. At the beginning she had to live with her rich aunt Mrs Reed and her children Eliza, George and Georgiana Reed, who didn't like Jane. George Reed was a cruel boy, who made Jane´s life unbearable. Then Mrs Reed sent her to a charity school for poor or orphaned girls, where Jane grew up and found some friends. At one point she recognized that she had to change something in her life and decided to get a job as a governess at Thornfield Hall, where the best part began... I think, Charlotte Bronte is a wonderful writer and person, who created a remarkable book. I couldn´t stop feeling sad, when the book ended, I wanted the continuation. Sometimes I am afraid of reading a book, because over time I feel like I would take part in the book and after the reading it is very hard to say "Goodbye!" to the characters of the book.

Hello Papilio,

A nice review of Jane Eyre. Very few mistakes. We use the past passive simple in the first paragraph as the action took place in the past.

Hope this helps
