What is a "Cachapa"?
The "Cachapa" is a typical Venezuelan dish. It is made with yellow ground corn, milk or water, sugar, salt and oil. All of these ingredients are mixed to form a semi liquid batter, which is cooked in a frying pan or a "budare" (a kind of griddle), by taking a portion of the mix with a ladle. The "Cachapa" can be eaten with fresh cheese, butter, fried pork or many combined ingredients. It has a sweet delicious flavor and it's easy to eat because you can take it everywhere.
