The most funny story of my life Thirteen years ego my daughter was born. I was there, I stayed next to my woman's bed, because I wanted to take part of this event. Every five minutes my woman (her name is Danka) had cramps(this word I had to check) It lasted a long time, so I was tired... After another cramps I sat down on the large soft ball and I waited for another cramps. When the cramps comming Danka told my "stand up and give me your hand". I wanted to do it, but I felt very strong cramps in my leg. I yelled - I can't stand up because I have cramps. Danka looked at my badly and yelled - "Here I have cramps!!!". So, I can speak everybody that when my daughter was born I was at delivery suite(dictionary) and I had cramps.... I know, I made a lot of mistakes. I only wondered how many....

Thirteen years ago my daughter was born. I was there and I stayed next to my wife's bed because I wanted to take part in this event. Every five minutes my wife (her name is Danka) had cramps. Her cramps lasted a long time. I became tired... I sat down on the large soft bed(do you mean bed and not ball) and I waited for Danka's next cramps. When the cramps came Danka told me to "stand up and give me your hand". I wanted to do it, but now I felt very strong cramps! I yelled - "I can't stand up because I have cramps in my leg." Danka looked at me angrily and yelled - "I have the cramps!!!". So, I can tell everyone that when my daughter was born I was in the delivery suite and I had cramps too....

I know, I made a lot of mistakes. I only wondered how many....

First - Thank you Karen Second - Andrea , I didn't want to offend woman. Woman, who gave birth was not my wife, that's why I named her my women. So, It was 13 years ego and she still is my woman... I'm not sexist, as Karen said, I'm beginner and I'm looking for a simple words... But thank you very much for your comment. Mariusz.

When someone says "my woman" in English, it sounds very sexist. I wouldn't use these words unless that is your intention.

In English one has "cramps" in one's leg. A woman giving birth has "contractions." The words in English are different. Good story - but hard to translate!
