We have many popular sports in Poland. The most popular sport is of course football, the second is speedway and the third is ski jumping. As I wrote in some posts before my son had jumped from the ski jumping hill when we were on holiday in the Tatra mountains. Actually, we are living on the plain where unfortunately isn't any possibility of practising this sport. Last week I met a man who has built a small ski jumping hill for his son. That man has started organising a tournament for amateur ski jumpers and my son attended in the second event last week. We drove there for five hours from the west to southeast Poland. I booked an apartment in the town near the place of this event so we had some time for sightseeing. It was a lovely town called Busko Zdrój where there are several sanatoriums, a graduation tower and a lovely park which is illuminated at night. The next morning (no need for "day") we drove to the village where the ski jumping hill was built. We were greatly impressed by the homemade construction. There were people who love ski jumping - the youngest jumper was five years old, the oldest forty-seven. The ski jumping hill was small and quite safe. My son was very happy and I was deeply moved by his performance in the competition. The climate of this place was brilliant. Everyone was really nice and friendly. The homemade food was exceedingly good. We had a good time and our son was in a perfect mood. Excellent. So, us dads all over the world spend our free time driving our children to activities 😁
