Is there a corresponding phrase for 声控 in English? (Usually, this phrase is used in a joking manner)
声 refers to voice, 控 comes from the Japanese word "con", which in turn was borrowed from the first syllable of the English word “complex”. 控 can be understood as a desire for liking something, as far as I'm concerned.
If I say that I am a 声控, it suggests that people's voice is what I value most.
In this case, can I say I am a voice-judger? Or is there any other expressions? Thanks in advance!

There's no English equivalent, Chinese is just special that way haha
I've seen some of the words and phrases in the answers here and thought about it on my own, they apply in some cases but cannot take over the whole meaning of 声控, it is a unique Chinese phrase :)

Well there is no particular word for this. I will coin the word as Voicephile. Lover of voices.

Wow! I’m curious to find out if there’s a term in English as I judge people by the sound of their voice, to my knowledge 🇺🇸 English doesn’t have such a term without actually describing it, like: I have a problem with female therapists who have a high- pitched voice. I told one of my doctors that if he wants find a new profession he could use his voice to record audio.

This is the academic definition but if you’re talking informal/social cues judgement is usually negative like: I judged that person by their outfit IE you judge someone by your first impression instead of getting to know them IE weight height status etc.

However I don't think those two expressions make up the perfect match to 声控, . "Fetish" or "kink" both describe the extreme liking or preference for something, typically in a sexual context. If this description fits to 声控, then I guess these two expressions are what we're looking for.
