Could someone, please, correct my short text bellow? Thanks. Improving one's accent it is a long pathway. At first you should ask yourself what accent you want to have. American accent, british accent, australian accent, other accent? American or British from which region or City? New York, Dallas, London or another british accent? Be aware that some Cities (London, for example) have more than an accent. If you already know the accent you want to have start to listen to radio programs, podcasts, regional TV channels and talk as much as you can to people that have the accent you want to acquire. If possible go to the place where there is the accent you want to speak. If you really want to change your accent, wait, wait and wait because the change is not too fast, unless you are a child. Children can change their accent quicker. Personally, I don't much care about accent. Communicating clearly is my goal when I am learning a new language.

Improving one's accent is a long JOURNEY. At first you should ask yourself what accent you want to have - AN American accent, British accent, Australian accent OR SOME other accent? IF American or British from which region or city? New York, Dallas, London or SOME OTHER British accent? Be aware that some cities (London, for example) have more than ONE accent. If you already know the accent you want to have start to listen to radio programs, podcasts, regional TV channels and talk as much as you can to people that have the accent you want to acquire. If possible go to the place where there the accent you want to LEARN IS SPOKEN. If you really want to change your accent, wait, wait and wait because the change is not GOING TO BE too fast, unless you are a child. Children can change their accent MORE QUICKLY Personally, I don't much care about accent. Communicating clearly is my goal when I am learning a new language. Very good! You have done so! Your paragraph is about acquiring a specific accent, not improving it. Therefore I have changed your introductory sentence.

Acquiring an accent takes a long time. At first you should ask yourself what accent you want to have. An American , British , Australian or some other accent? American or British? From which region or city? New York, Dallas, London or another city? Be aware that some cities like London, have more than one accent. If you already know the accent you want to acquire, start by listening to radio programs, podcasts, regional TV channels and talk as much as you can to people who have the accent you want to acquire. If possible, go to the place where the accent you wish to acquire is spoken. If you really want to change your accent, wait for a while, because this change is not going to happen soon, unless you are a child. Children can change their accents much faster. Personally, I don't care about accents very much. When I am learning a new language, my goal is to communicate clearly.

I will correct it if you post it as a notebook entry. There are no correction facilities for questions.
