what does"pull into port"mean in the following sentence? I was drinking a case a day, no problem. You know, when we pulled into port, drinking the-the liquor, or even did some drugs, uh and then again brought this into the marriage, alcoholism.

Seaport (where ships can dock). Airport (where airplanes can dock).

If the speaker is not also a sailor (ie. arriving at a shipping port), then it's a figurative meaning. It would mean either "make a stop" (again, the person is travelling but it doesn't have to be by boat) or even "visit the local bar".
