Hey!
I agree with Carlos Roberto. Our country is rich in different cultures and the slangs vary from State to State. I've never been in Bahia but I have some friends from there. So, I can post some of the expressions I heard from them. I hope it can help somehow. Btw, ur Portuguese is great! Congratulation!
ê aleive! (means, 'This is a lie!' or 'No way)
arere. (means agitation)
bodum (means, 'It stinks!')
meu rei (refer to people. Probably u already heard someone calling u 'meu rei')
véio (refer to people too. But this is much more informal. Usually used when u know the person u are talking to)
de botuca (looking or observing or paying attention)
gaitada (to laugh loud)
mais eu (with me, for example, 'voce vai mais eu?' 'Are u going with me?')
porreta! (neat!)
well, that's it! Enjoy ur time there ^^
