What does "somewhere near dawn" mean here? Thanks! Finally,【somewhere near dawn】,comes remorse and forgiveness followed by the good stuff-cuddling together until sleep comes at 0-dark-thirty in the morning.Exhaustion has a way of make seemingly-huge disagreements seem trivial. ------------------------------ Does it really means that it is time to about dawn? or something else such as a figure of speech?I am confused. "0-dark-thirty in the morning" is about dawn??? I can not believe it. By the way, what does "0-dark-thirty in the morning" mean? Why "dark"?when is dawn? after 00.00?

'Dawn' is at the time the sun rises. 'Dawn' is essentially sunrise. Sunrise usually occurs around 4am-6am depending on the season. eg1. He woke up at the crack of dawn. (This mean he woke up just when the sun had started to rise. 'Crack' in the sentence indicates the first glimpse of sunlight shining through.) 'Somewhere near dawn' = roughly around the time that the sun rose(4am-6am). :)

The day begins at midnight, 00:00. It is a military time (24-hour clock). The hours before 10 am start with a 0; so 1:00 am is 0100 and said as zero-one-hundred and so forth. How it is pronounced greatly depends on which branch of the military you’ve serve. In the Navy and Marine Corps, there was a lot of emphasis on pronouncing 0500 as "zero five hundred" instead of "oh five hundred," etc., and, as a result, we said "zero dark thirty" instead of "oh dark thirty." And by that "0-dark-thirty in the morning" and why it is ''dark'', it means midnight. (12:30 am)

Now I think the "best answer" that I have chosen is wrong. The meaning of 【somewhere near dawn】should be : all bad things have been past and the good thing is comiing.
