How to say "students"/"a group of students"?
How can I emphasise students as a plural in the following paragraph? Also please could you proofread and tell me my mistakes?
I am trying to say the following:
"It's not a very happy story. A girl was adopted by a man after her mother died. But, this man was wanted by the police.
Then, the girl fell in love with a student in Paris. The students were not happy so they started a rebellion but they were defeated. Lots of people died."
I am only a beginner so if you help me please use simple Japanese.
