You may refer to the following links regarding the corresponding definitions. Suitable:http://www.wordreference.com/definition/suitable Convenient:http://www.wordreference.com/definition/convenient In general, when someone or something is suitable, it means that the person or the thing fits well into that particular situation. On the other hand, when something is convenient, it means that the thing provides ease or comfort to the persons who use that thing. === I wish you a good day.

Here's a picture of a nut and bolt: http://pix.iemoji.com/images/emoji/apple/ios-9/256/nut-and-bolt.png Here's a picture of a pair of "vice-grips," a kind of pliers: http://www.irwin.com/uploads/products/large/the-original™-curved-jaw-locking-pliers-with-wire-cutter-276.jpg Here's a picture of an impact wrench: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/IphPsNyWhLA/hqdefault.jpg Suppose you have a rusted nut that you need to remove from a bolt. A pair of vice-grips may work. It is convenient, because it is cheap, it doesn't need power, and many drivers keep a pair in their car. But it doesn't work well. It damages the nuts. It is not a suitable tool for the job. The most suitable tool for the job is an impact wrench and a set of sockets. It is the right tool for the job. But it is not convenient, because it's expensive, it needs power, and you may not have it with you when you need it.

If something is suitable, it is right or useful for someone to do something, for a particular purpose: You will never get a suitable job if you don´t look for it. If something is convenient, it will come in handy for someone´s purposes: If you are planning to go on a hike, you are going to have to get convenient footwear.
