Hi. First, in your question remember to use articles and make sure to use the form of the verb "to be" ( in this case "is") . We use articles a lot in English. Words like "a", "an", and "the". And we actually use them even more in US English than in the UK. So the sentence should read: This IS a part of THE animation Inside Out...... "I read somewhere that an empty room is an opportunity. " In this sentence the character is referring to the fact that when room is empty then you have lots of possibilities of things you can put in it. This is something we might say when someone is feeling rather negative about something and we want to make them see things more positively. I hope that helps. :)

"Our butterfly curtains couldn't fix" is not correct English. Fix needs a direct object. e.g. I fixed the curtains. The speaker probably means that the curtains don't match, or don't meet in the middle of the window normally. They are my best guesses. The second sentence is an aphorism, an expression which explains a general idea about life. If you go into an empty room, you can have a positive attitude and do anything you want there. There is nothing in it which is limiting you. For example, you can decorate it how you like, or you can do any activity you like.
