※「熱忱」是一種心意、態度(a kind of notion or attitude)，做某件事時很真心、積極的心意、態度。在中文裡常常當作名詞使用。 ※「熱心」有兩個意思：1.跟「熱忱」類似，做某件事時很真心、積極的樣子，但是常作形容詞或副詞使用。2.很有同情心。 例如，我們常說「他對某事有熱忱(He has enthusiasm for something.」或「他對某事很熱心(He is enthusiastic about somehting.」。不過，也有人把「熱忱」和「熱心」的用法看作一樣。另外，「熱心」也有「喜歡幫助別人(like to help others)」的意思，這是「熱忱」所沒有的。 ※「熱情」也有兩種意思：1.是一種情緒(a kind of emotion)，熱烈的情緒，這點跟「熱忱」意思很接近(當名詞用)。2.感情非常熱烈，喜歡跟別人相處，甚至把陌生人都當作好朋友，當形容詞或副詞用。 例如，「他對某事充滿熱情」和「他對某事充滿熱忱」意思是一樣的。但是，「那個女孩很熱情」意思是那個女孩很外向開放(extroverted)、好客(hospitable)。 ※「激情」也是一種情緒(a kind of emotion)，非常強烈激動的情緒，比「熱情」程度上強烈許多，快樂、感動的情緒到了頂點的狀態(overexcited)。 例如，結婚當天晚上充滿了激情。

There are big differences 热情一般对待朋友，家人（指对待人）(kind of attitude toward others, characteristic of a person--like communicating with people , like reaction beween friends) 激情一般指对待情人或者形容对待某一事情像对待情人一样的感觉（kind of feeling) 热心一般形容一个人很有爱心，很爱关心别人，帮助别人(characteristic of a person) 热忱一般指对待职业，事业（enthusiastic attitude toward career you're pursuing )

热情、激情和热心在口语里用的多些。热忱在书面上有的多些。 热情（Passion），participate in activities or treatment that has shown others the warm, positive, active, friendly feeling or attitude. 激情（Enthusiasm），Meant to form a strong emotional expression. like 热情，but more severe degree。 热心（enthusiasm，warmheated），Describe a person who is very passion, like to help others. 热忱（zealousness），Support the objectives of a person or a feeling of immediate excitement。

热情，是用来形容人的。比如：我对你很热情。也可以代表：我很喜欢你，所以对你很热情。 激情，是形容事的。比如：我对这件事充满了激情。 一般是说：不热情了，没了激情。

基本的核心意思相同，只是有习惯性的表达，所以要视情况而言
