I have been teaching Korean for 5 years privately and on different platforms. (5000+ lessons). In the first class, you will see how I teach and will understand how it feels to speak sentences in Korean. This is a conversation-focused lesson: 10% grammar and 90% speaking and listening. I use my slides and videos in the class, not other published books.
Previously I was in financial data, accounting, and international trading working for foreign companies. I am interested in various topics such as music, TV shows, books, history, and food. So, I use a variety of example sentences in my lessons from Kpop to Korean history and Korean foods.翻訳を表示する

I had 3 years of teaching English to Koreans before I started teaching Korean. Because of these experiences, I assumed that teaching Korean would be easy for me. However, the reality was different from my imagination. Since I had never been a beginner in the Korean language, it was very hard for me to relate to the students. In the beginning, I had a hard time understanding how non-Koreans process Korean in their brain as a language. So, I had to put a lot of effort to see Korean sentences from the student’s perspective. Now with more experience, I have much more understanding of how students would feel when they encounter new sentences or expressions.レッスン形式・教え方
For beginners: TPRS encourages students to speak the target language in a relaxed and fun environment from the very first class by answering questions from the teacher and making their own stories. This teaching method has been proved by a number of academic researchers and teachers over 30 years not to mention my own teaching experiences. if you are a beginner and your current Korean teacher speaks more English than Korean in the class, please stop taking classes with the teacher and try this class. You will see how faster your Korean can be improved.
For intermediate and advanced students, I provide customized classes after discussion with the students. No Grammar focused lesson.教材

He's dedicated about preparing a customized curriculum, extremely fun and patient, puts a lot of care in his teaching methodology, and simply very personable! Our classes always fly by and feel very stress-free, but learning a lot at the same time. Would highly highly recommend his classes :)

I really love Han Ssam's classes. I get mentally challenged and really feel the progress in my Korean week by week. I love his small explanations in between about culture to mix up the TPRS-practice. Originally I had planned to just try a set of 10 classes for the TPRS experience, but I enjoy it so much that I will definitely stay! Thank you Han Ssam!

It is really great to be learning with Han Ssam! I love the TPRS experience and how he designs his classes. The mix of explanations and sentence learning is perfect, and Han Ssam is great at explaining concepts through other languages I know such as Chinese. I couldn't be happier!

Thanks as always for this great class. It is always so interesting to observe how I go from not having an idea at all about a sentence to being able to understand it, but not being so sure, to completely mastering it.
Also I feel like Jerry is slowly becoming a part of me through the intense repetition of his story :P
