I have a B. Mus degree as well as a TEFL certificate. I am passionate about music and languages, particularly English. I love good movies and documentaries, great literature, nature and animals. I also love meeting new people and discussing a variety of topics, especially if I find it interesting. I have over twenty years of teaching experience, mainly as a singing teacher, and have been told numerous times that I am fun, easy-going and patient. I love to keep fit, mainly by walking where there are lots of trees and lovely scenery, and I enjoy preparing my own healthy meals, so that is something else to talk about.

講師としての私
I am a more relaxed and informal type of teacher; however, I am also conscientious when it comes to error correction and suggestions of how to improve in weaker areas. I can ascertain the level of each student, and adjust my lesson plan accordingly: if you are an absolute beginner, I will make sure that the lesson is tailored to a beginner's needs, and for more advanced students, the material will naturally be harder. From studying and teaching music, I know that learning anything boils down to repetition and patient practice. I am also an encouraging teacher, as I know from experience how important it is to stay motivated if you want to persist in reaching your goals.

My lessons would mainly revolve around conversation practice, which for me this feels like the best and most natural place to start. I would prepare a list of topics to talk about, which I could email, for example, ahead of the lesson, giving the students time to think about what they would like to say about a chosen topic. Alternatively, I am also open to suggestions from the student, about what the preferred topic of discussion could be for an upcoming lesson. That way, there is time to research the topic, if necessary, or to share links to articles that could assist in exploring the topic in more depth, depending once again, on what each student feels comfortable with.
