It's always fun with Alie! I've had both Dutch and Frisian lessons with Alie and they have all been both highly instructive and good fun. Alie is a gifted and patient teacher, and a friendly and kind lady. She is very generous with her time and her knowledge. Alie seems equally happy in, and committed to, teaching both Dutch and Frisian. She suffers my current level of oral mangling of her native tongue (Frisian) with benign indifference. With her help, I plan quickly to become a proficient pronouncer of Frisian sounds, among other things. Whether you want to learn Dutch, or the much less commonly taught Frisian, Alie is an excellent choice of teacher.

My first Frisian lesson was fine. Alie was very well prepared and went through all the topics I wished to learn. The time was a bit tight but it was because I asked for a lot of content. Alie welcome recording lessons so that students can listen and revise afterwards.

Alie is a very nice teacher. We practise speaking Dutch mostly and it goes very well. I’ve been with this teacher for several months and I recommend her as a good professional.
