I had great first lesson with Kana-sensei. As a heritage speaker with limited opportunities to practice, I struggle big time with confidence and fluidity, but throughout the lesson I was empowered to express myself in the way I wanted to. The topics discussed were engaging and I genuinely felt that we spoke like peers, rather than teacher-student. Corrections were appropriate, non-intrusive, and explained clearly.

Kana is a great Japanese teacher. I have been taking lessons with her for a while now. She is very talkative and doesn't mind talking about anything.

Another great lesson. If you are looking for a teacher that is there to talk to you and enjoys communicating with you, I highly suggest taking Kana's lesson. I have taken many Japanese lessons on this platform and some teachers seem to just let the pass time or uninterested in talking with you. Kana is not one of those teachers. She truly takes pride in her lessons and engaging with her students.
