Hello! My name is Muhittin. I am 44 years old from Turkey, a native Turkish speaker and a trained Turkish language and literature teacher. I like to watch movies and TV shows, listen to music, checking news on social media and love to play chess. I am a passionate about history, politics and art. I am also a fan of documentaries about nature.
My favourite movies are Fight Club, Interstellar, Saving Private Ryan and Loving Vincent.
My favourite TV shows are The Americans, The Wire and Seinfeld.
My favourite music bands are Empyrium, Therion, Haggard and Tristania.

I am a trained Turkish language teacher with 17+ years of experience.
I have master degree on teaching Turkish language and literature.
There is no perfect method to teach language alone, so I am using an eclectic methodology to teach Turkish language. We will be focusing on meaning, form and pronunciation. We are going to learn new vocabularies in the contexts like stories and real life situations.
The lessons will be student-centred, engaging and personalized, tailored to student's level, goals, expectations, interests and time.レッスン形式・教え方
Although, I am focusing on conversational speaking based learning, grammar is also an important element when it comes to learn a language. Because language is like a building: Words are bricks and grammar is the cement that glues the bricks together to build a wall.
There will be homework tasks for revising vocabulary; watching, reading and writing exercises if student have time for it.教材

I had a great first lesson with Muhittin today! I was nervous about getting back into speaking Turkish, but I had a wonderful time talking to Muhittin and discussing ideas for potential future classes. He was extremely patient and easy to talk to you, I'd recommend anyone to try a lesson with him!
