Hi, I’m Kathryn, an enthusiastic English tutor from a small town in England. I’m passionate about making language learning fun and engaging!
I was an early years teacher for 8 years, teaching children of all different backgrounds how to express themselves confidently in English. For the previous year, I have been self-employed, dedicating myself to teaching languages to people of all ages.
I am currently studying at university - I am studying French and Spanish language studies! So, you could definitely say that languages are my passion.

As someone who loves learning languages myself, I understand the challenges and frustrations that come with it, and I use this experience to create a supportive, safe space where my students can thrive.

I’ve been teaching for 9 years, with experience in both children and adult education.
I hold a Level 5 TEFL certificate and am passionate about helping you achieve your English goals.
My teaching style follows a "Before, During, and After" approach:
- Before lessons, I provide prep activities for you. This may include vocabulary lists, small texts, or questions to consider.
- During lessons, we will review different materials and engage in practical conversations. Focusing entirely on your improvements.
- After lessons, I assign short homework tasks.

Level 5 Diploma in TEFL - TEFL.org - 2023I completed a 230 hour course, including online lectures and lesson practice, to teach English as a foreign language. This taught me how to plan a variety of lessons and activities, as well as the essential skills of creating an engaging online classroom.
