Donggyu Kim

Donggyu is an excellent teacher. I just had my third lesson with him, learning Hangul, and he has been incredibly patient and supportive throughout. What I particularly enjoy about his lessons is that they don’t feel like a lecture. He takes the time to explain concepts clearly and listens to my requests, customizing the lessons to match my level and focus areas. He always encourages me to push myself and do my best. With his guidance, I feel confident that I’ll be able to speak Korean very soon! I’m really having fun learning with him and can’t wait for our next lessons.

Donggyu is the answer to my prayers. 🤩 I don't need to look further for the perfect Korean teacher. His teaching style is exactly what I am looking for. He is so supportive and encouraging and he immediately made me feel at ease. I love that he corrected my mistakes. There was a wonderful balance of reading and speaking (especially since I'm a beginner). I look forward to many more lessons. 감사합니다!!

Donggyu Kim is a very patient and kind teacher. He explains well and is easy to talk to. His english is very good and understandable. It is always fun to have class with him and the time just flies by. I look forward to learn and practice Korean with him more. 🙂

Each lesson with 동 규 (Donggyu) is always perfect! Excellent prepared,very patient and calm.Helps me a lot with my pronunciation and always is there for any question or questions I may have.He wants the student to learn the Korean language right and that’s why he gives his best effort to achieve it !He deserves any compliment as a teacher! Today we learned how to use the two number systems and the context needed to form correct sentences with the systems! Once again Mr. Kim does a great job of teaching!
