Lorimar

Lorimar is a really wonderful instructor, the conversations are always interesting, touching, or funny, and they push my ability to communicate towards areas where I just need to learn a few more words. She is able to see where I need guidance though our conversations and we work on these areas, sometimes specifically with homework, sometimes just through normal conversation and gentle reminders. If you are approaching conversational in Spanish and feel like you need this last push with a patient teacher to succeed, then I highly recommend Lorimar. (But don't steal my time slot!)

Lorimar uses different methods to teach. Sometimes we do short videos to allow us to have specific topics to talk about and for me to practice listening to others' speech in addition to her's among other fun activities. I very much enjoy our lessons and I find myself relaxed and laughing as we to the lessons.

Lori is an amazing Spanish teacher who makes learning fun. She's great at making conversations feel natural, even when we're going over grammar. I've noticed a big improvement in my Spanish speaking skills since I started her classes. She makes learning feel less like a chore and more like a fun chat with a friend.

Lorimar was great! I could tell that she has a lot of experience teaching the language. In our first class meeting she was able to assess some of my strengths and weaknesses and made a plan for how we can improve my grammar. I will absolutely be signing up for more classes with her!

I've been working with Lorimar for many lessons and I am having a lot of fun with them. I laugh a lot and am finding that although I still stammer through the things I say, I am getting better over time. Lorimar is fun, patient, always professional and does a great job of mixing corrections of words and grammar with letting me struggle through to work things out. I highly recommend her!
