Hello, my name is Luis Gutiérrez, I'm a Venezuelan journalist and a photographer. I'm 31 years old and I've been teaching Spanish and English since i was 17 years old. I'm looking for basic, intermediate and advanced students in Spanish. Luis is a great teacher for all levels. He tailors the program to your goals and your level. He ensures every moment of the class is used effectively and ensures questions are answered before ending the class. He is great at keeping the conversations fun and interesting while learning, but he is paying attention to what you are saying and will correct you in a nice manner that is encouraging to improve. He is knowledgeable of grammar so if you want a technical explanation he knows it in addition to how Spanish speakers actually speak and how to remember to use it. I studied Spanish in school and have been struggling to find a teacher that will help me progress in my Spanish to speaking fluently. I tend to get bored with teachers that continue to reteach what I have learned, but Luis recognized that the first lesson and went straight into applying grammar knowledge when speaking.
