Class topics are varied and interesting, with helpful corrections and language suggestions. Wanrong is capable of clearly and simply talking about all kinds of topics which makes the classes both useful and enjoyable.

Today was my first lesson so it was more an introductory lesson. Talking about general topics. I also learned some useful new words.

I have been having casual chats with Wanrong now for a couple of months. She is awesome to talk to, funny, and encouraging. I feel very comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and practicing things I'm less confident in with her, and she has contributed greatly to me being able to use Chinese outside of class. One of the biggest value adds for me while learning Chinese has been informal conversations. I have taken a lot of formal lessons (University, Work provided), but never been comfortable talking with my Chinese coworkers and friends. Wanrong has been vital in helping me 'hear' casual Chinese you don't often see in a textbook, but also 'speak' about what I'm interested it, which has encouraged me to spend a lot more time learning vocabulary in my hobbies and interests. I highly recommend having a lesson with Wanrong, she has been super helpful in working with me on my goals.
