Hi, my name is Robert. I’m from New York where I worked in the information technology industry. Currently, I'm in Europe exploring different countries. I learned Spanish while staying here and have tried to learn other languages like Korean and Vietnamese when traveling in those countries. As a teacher, I’m engaging, fun and patient with my students and as a TEFL trainer, I have a solid understanding of grammar and teaching methods. I live in a non-English speaking country, so I understand some of your challenges in learning a foreign language. I can empathize with your struggles.
I have a wide range of teaching experience, from beginners to advance. My first job was teaching English for maths and science in a Thai primary school and then I taught Thai university students in a language center. I currently have online students from Germany, Taiwan, China and many other countries. I want my students to speak effective English whether it’s for work or pleasure!レッスン形式・教え方
All classes are customized to the student's needs. For conversation lessons, I prefer to use the test-teach-test method, where we briefly talk about the topic, usually with me asking a question or two about the topic. Then we will perform a conversational role play about the topic. At the end of the role play, I’ll give feedback. After, I may incorporate an exercise to add more relevant language and then redo the role-play.
I enjoy conversations and teach through them. My style is to provide constructive corrections and to instill confidence in the students.教材

Level 3 Teacher Assessor - The Teacher Trainer Ltd. - 2019It was a self study course with a writing assignment on the theory that underpins the assessment of teacher trainees. It had to be completed in 30 days.
It enabled my employer’s program, SEE TEFL, to obtain certification from TQUK, the Training Qualifications for UK organizations and it enabled me to obtain skills to assess new EFL teachers.

Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) - SEETEFL - Chiang Mai, Thailand - 2014Trainees were required to study for 120 hours of onsite classroom skills training that included 6 observed teaching practices with real students at a range of real schools.
It enabled me to be a successful teacher in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. It gave me practical skills training, language awareness training and cultural awareness training.

It also showed me that online teaching can be more effective than some classroom environments. I taught adult learners for both private and group lessons. I was the Service Award winner for August 2021 and earned a supplemental fee every month
