Hi there! My name is Andrea and I am from Sicily a region of Italy.
I currently live in Sydney, Australia where I teach Italian and how to make Pizza
In addition to Italian, I speak Spanish and English.
My hobbies include Yoga/Dancing Salsa, food/pizza, travelling, languages and animals.
Travelling is my passion and I have been lucky enough to travel to Spain, England, Ireland, Malta, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Netherlands, France, Turkey, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia翻訳を表示する

As an English conversation and vocabulary tutor, I like to use current events, social issues, articles, tv shows, videos, podcasts and role-playing throughout my lessons to push conversations forward and do a lot of reading.
This strategy aids in enhancing your speaking abilities in different situations, debates and scenarios.
We will constantly be working the mind to have elaborate discussions that make you think differently in order to advance and practice your Italian/Spanish

My teaching style is focused and strategic in order to advance your level of italian and Spanish. I want my students to be engaged in our lessons so it's important our lessons are focused on relevant situations and topics in your daily life/professional life. We will discuss and debate, share opinions and analyze issues.
I focus on conversation, pronunciation, comprehension, reading and vocabulary while using modern and interactive teaching materials and resources to fit your needs and language goals. We will talk about real-world issues, and current events, debate social issues, discuss cultural differences etc. The goal is to push you forward to the next step.教材

Learning Italian with Andrea has been really fun. His approach to teaching makes you feel like you are conversing with a friend rather than a teacher. He is patient and will take the time to make sure you understand the meaning, pronunciation, etc of your mistakes and errors. Highly recommend.

Learning with Andrea has been a very fun and relaxing experience. There is a lightly structured design in his lessons were we can flow through various conversational ideas however we will stop and linguistically analyze troublesome topics. When analyzing we work together as a team to understand them better, meaning he will see if the explanation was effective or if he needs to explain it in another way. He frequently gives me things to do between lessons based on what we talked about. For example we were talking about italian movies one day and he recommended me an actor to check out which I gladly did and we talked about it casually the next lesson. It isn’t a struggle with Andrea, it feels like i’m talking with a friend, but a friend who wants me to improve my Italian and has the backing knowledge to propel me forward.

Andrea is very easy to talk to and very helpful in learning Italian. I really like that he keeps the conversation fluid by giving his feedback afterwards rather than mid-conversation. He gave me a lot of resources to expose myself to the Italian language and culture. I definitely recommend him as an instructor!

Learning Italian with Andrea has been great. He teaches in a way that makes you feel comfortable speaking, with or without mistakes. He helps lead the conversation, but will stop to help you understand conjugations, spelling, pronunciations, etc. I highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking to improve their Italian language skills!
