As someone who works in language education myself, let me say that Ms. Chen is truly cut out for the job. She is patient and kind, while maintaining a balance of being firm and not letting mistakes pass by. She helped my translation practice to sound not only more natural, but to also have rhythm and emotion. She speaks English and Vietnamese which is a great help when you run out of words, but she pushes you to use Chinese all during the lesson. Its a bit painful at times, but really worth it. I came for translation practice and guidence, but I think that no matter what your goal is she will be able to help you. Book her, you wont regret it.

Exactly what I was hoping for. She taught me many words and sentences and also let me use my imagination to say things while she guided me. Can’t wait for next class

If you want to have a fun, relax time, and also can learn a new language at the same time, to learn from Maggie would be a good choice. Her class material is flexible and fit my personal life. Her teaching material is based on my daily life, and focus on what I really want to communicate with my wife's family. Helpful and useful classes.

跟老師的第一課很不錯! 老師知道我學過但太少機會講, 於是首50分鐘我們都是全越南語對話, 我可是從未試過連續聽和講這麼長的! 開頭有黠難, 但是20分鐘之後就慢慢適應了。老師非常有耐性, 鼓勵我用自己懂的語彙表達。重要的語句老師都會打下來方便我理解。最後10分鐘是複習, 結束時老師再用中文和我分享意見和學習建議。感謝!
