Haïti (Cheri), it's a cute little island where I'm living. Yes, I'm Haïtian and I speak French, Creole, and English. I think French is a beautiful language. That's why I love to read, watch french movies, and I love teaching. I will be happy to help you with this language. Also Creole is very interesting to me and sometimes funny. A lot of Creole expressions are funny for me. Don't you want to know some of those expressions? Creole keeps me in touch with the history of my country. The culture here is so amazing. Mon style d'enseignement sera surtout basé sur les discutions qu'on aura, ainsi tu pourras mieux pratiquer ta prononciation. Par ailleurs, nous pourrons lire des articles, des livres, écoute de la musique, faire des exercices de grammaire. Je te donnerai le nom de certains films, musiciens, YouTubers, blog afin que tu puisses t'entrainer à écouter. Je prépare également des documents, powerpoint.

Raphaëlle has a great personality. She asked me questions to start. Then, we spent around 5 minutes speaking about Hatian creole. She was able to explain not only the phrases but how they came about which was really interesting. The last part of the lesson we spent on tongue twisters and a game. It was a great lesson!

Raphaelle is a great teacher. She covered grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and cultural context in 30 minutes. Also, she speaks english fluently so she is able to explain concepts in english and quickly switch back to kreyol or french. Thanks Raphaelle and I look forward to our next lesson!
