Highly recommend for those who seek for a Chinese teacher at every levels. I have been studying with him for over 10 classes now. All I could say is his teaching style is really flexible and lively so you are not gonna be bored at all. With his amiability, you feel no pressure even though you are new to this language. After each classes, you will always get new useful vocabs, phrases, grammar that could be applied in your daily conversation.

I’ve had many private online tutors but to date, Howie is my favourite. He’s always so positive, knowledgeable, sociable, supportive, understanding and patient, it’s hard not to enjoy his classes! He also coached me to a perfect score for HSK 1 by providing me with lots of materials to study with and review. I look forward to working on the later levels with him in the future. Howie is amazing! I've had many lessons with him now and its always great! Not only is he funny and makes the lessons relaxed, he also puts together interesting topics and helps me improve my speaking ability and vocab, step by step! Howie was a great teacher, I practiced my Chinese from the moment we began the session. I appreciated that he made notes for the vocabulary I didn't know or grammer I got wrong in the chat, so I can review them later.
