With me you will be exposed to language appropriate to your level while being increasingly challenged as your level progresses. Our lessons can be both fun and challenging, and will be adjusted to your goals. I believe having a good time is the most important thing when learning a language, so we can talk about your interests, books and movies you like, or anything you want. You can bring any material you like, such as media you enjoy or other learning materials, and we can use it to learn from it by for example looking at vocabulary, pronunciation and context.レッスン形式・教え方
I will start by having a conversation about what you want to learn (you can also send requests in advance in a message!) so I can get to know you, design our lessons as well as judge your level. Depending on your requests and areas you need to work on, we can do both conversational classes or focused practice in areas such as listening, reading or pronunciation.
Being an experienced language learner and tutor, I will also be able to give you advice for self study and staying motivated.

Even though I hadn't taken a lesson in a long time, the teacher welcomed me comfortably. So I was very motivated. The lesson was a short time of 30 minutes, but I had a very meaningful time. Thank you, italki, for letting me meet such a good teacher. Tack!

Heather is a fantastic teacher. I came to her with almost no Swedish knowledge, and in half a year she helped me achieve my goals of understanding most of the spoken language and start speaking myself. She had a very methodical approach of first giving me all the necessary grammar and resources, and then we spent a lot of time practicing spoken language and hearing comprehension. Most importantly, none of our lessons were boring, it is the rare case when an entire hour would go unnoticed for me while doing a learning activity. Thank you, Heather!
