Instructor thoroughly explains how and when to use certain words and how to pronounce them correctly.

Instructor is full on great energy & doesn’t waste time. He is very clear on how to pronounce, spell, & place wording correctly. The good thing is that when learning a new language, of course its embarrassing to make mistakes & difficult to catch on to speed of conversation; However, he encourages you to try you best & is very good at working at your speed to help you pick up quickly.

Esta es mi segunda clase, tuvimos algunos problemas técnicos, pero el maestro se mostró dispuesto a ayudar todo el tiempo, fue una buena clase.

Very easy to talk to and caters to your needs. He is very encouraging.

Today was my very first lesson on italki, and my very first lesson for Haitian Creole. And I'm glad it was with Lobatchevsky! He is kind, patient, a good communicator and a good listener who knows how to keep a conversation moving. After the lesson, I bought a lesson package to continue learning with this wonderful teacher.

I have taken hundreds of 1:1 lessons for almost a dozen languages, and I can say confidently that Lobatchevsky is one of the best teachers I’ve found, and he really understands language learning. I just had my first lesson ever for Haitian Creole with Lobatchevsky. Despite me feeling really nervous when joining, he encouraged me to talk and spoke at a level perfect for getting me to the flow state. I am confident that I will learn extremely quickly from him! I’d recommend taking lessons with him, and I’m looking forward to taking many more! I think he’d be a great teacher for other language-learning enthusiasts (he’s great at comparing things to other languages you know) and complete foreign language beginners, alike.
