Hey there! I'm Ed, I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I am native in English and Portuguese. I've been teaching both languages for 4 years. Before teaching, I studied Industrial/Systems Engineering. I've worked as a translator/interpreter. I'm getting my TEFL Certification to enhance my teaching skills.
I love languages! Currently, I speak Spanish, French, Italian and I am learning German. When I'm not teaching, I spend time playing football and basketball, playing guitar, watching movies, or staying active at the gym or pool. I'm super patient and make sure our lessons feel comfy for you. I'm here to help you learn languages in a fun way. I've been teaching for 4 years, and I love making our lessons easy to understand. My background in engineering helps me create cool ways to learn. I speak English, Portuguese, and a few other languages like Spanish, French, and Italian. I'm even learning German now! Edmilson was a great teacher! He adapted his lesson well to my current level of Portuguese and leveraged my pre-existing knowledge of Spanish to make it an even more pleasant learning experience. He seems very patient and very approachable. While this was my first trial lesson with him, I would certainly recommend him to others and am looking forward to continuing my learning experience with him!
