I grew up in Lebanon in an amalgam of cultures, languages, and traditions. Since I was a child, I have been exposed to both Lebanese and French culture, as Lebanon is a place where oriental and occidental cultures meet. In 2019, I moved to Prague for my studies, and I am now based between Beirut and Prague. I studied arts and have a master’s in directing of alternative theater. I am interested in all types of arts and sports (I also am an experienced horseback rider), and I have a deep love for traveling and discovering new cultures. I have been teaching on Italki since November 2020, and I have met a lot of people from around the world, kids and adults; beginners and advanced speakers. I am patient and know how important it is to repeat things for them to be clearly understood and remembered. I also know that each person has their own way of learning, so I adapt to whatever is best for you.
I have been learning Spanish, German, and Czech, so I have experience when it comes to discovering new words and pronunciation. I will guide you through French sounds and spellings step by step, at your own rhythm.レッスンおよびティーチングスタイル
Each lesson is adapted to your personal needs and preferred learning methods.
Conversation practice focuses on vocabulary, pronunciation and listening. We either discuss a chosen topic, focusing on the vocabulary related to it, or have a casual conversation. You will learn ways of speaking and new expressions. If we encounter a new word or one that is not clear, I will write it so that you can read it and grasp it better.
The beginners’ course focuses on basic grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. We will use texts and images to discover new topics, and practice by doing exercises and forming simple sentences. We will combine reading, writing and speaking.教材

Every class with Mara is so interesting! Because I feel engaged in the conversation, I push myself to speak more and use vocabulary I may not be comfortable with. Mara is always there to help when I need it and provides such kind encouragement.

I always enjoy my lessons with Mara. She is calm and patient and provides support when needed. We always discuss the most interesting topics and the conversations are so rich I don't want the classes to end!
