Today we discussed my homework and learnt more vocabulary about professions. Loved how Latifat explained the logical composition of words like "jẹléósimi" or "ilé oúnjẹ". I find it so cool! Our Yoruba lessons are always super interesting and enjoyable. Latifat has a great attitude, and she is always very clear. I feel I am learning a lot both of the language, but also about the culture related to it. That's awesome. ẹ ṣe gan ni, ò dàbọ̣̀ :)

I feel incredibly grateful to have found Latifat Kilani as my Yoruba teacher. She is a truly exceptional teacher with an impressive depth of knowledge, a genuine passion for the Yoruba language, and a wonderful ability to make learning both enjoyable and meaningful. From the very beginning, Latifat has been patient, encouraging, attentive, and incredibly skilled at explaining the language in a clear and understandable way. Her lessons have helped me improve my Yoruba tremendously, not only in vocabulary and grammar, but also in pronunciation, sentence structure, comprehension, and confidence when speaking. Latifat is a great teacher. My understanding of the Yoruba language grows with every session under her tutelage. She helps me improve my tones, my vocabulary, and my conversations skills. I eventually want to study Nigerian pidgin with her as well.

Good speaking practice, but would appreciate a bit more structure and curriculum throughout the lessons.
