Miss Jooah certainly has a deep knowledge of the Korean language, in fact she understands the logic behind its grammar rules and can destructure the lexicon in all its main and fundamental elements, namely morphology, phonology as well as phonetics and semantics. The fact that she creates her own learning material and constantly updates it allows her to cultivate a mental map which orientates her thoughts and actions and facilitate the retrieval of specific information when needed. Moreover, she also demonstrates a profound understanding of multiple learning theories and she is clearly aware of the cognitive processes which determine the possible learning outcomes. In addition, she is able to have meaningful discussions about various Korean traditional cultural aspects and on ancient, modern and contemporary East Asian history. Last but not least, she implicitly communicates her remarkable sense or work-ethics, her spontaneous patience as well as her natural, effortless kindness.

Study with Jooah since December last year, I have passed TOPIK 5, caused by skills that teacher told me , I got 80 points in reading test, although the reading test is so difficult. And my writing, listening also be improved. Thank you Teacher Jooah. You gave me a happy learning experience

I highly recommend Jooah as a teacher! Her material is always engaging and in three lessons, I have already improved so much and gained more confidence in Korean. She provides helpful exercises and explanations at an ideal pace that isn't tedious or overwhelming. Plus, she is always kind and patient with my beginner mistakes!

I’ve been stuck using a lot of beginner grammar in my conversations with people, but Jooah is really helping me to integrate more complex grammar and more natural sentence structure into my speech. The way she has me practice sample sentences, giving me feedback on not only the vocab and grammar, but also on the pronunciation and flow in my speech is so helpful. It’s always embarrassing and difficult when I try to say something in Korean, but the person I’m speaking to doesn’t understand what I’m trying to say. Thanks to Jooah that happens far less often to me these days. She is the best teacher!

italki에서 여러 선생님들이랑 수업을 해봤었는데 주아 선생님이랑 수업을 몇번 하다 보니까 드디어 저한테 딱 맞는 한국어 선생님을 찾은 것 같아요! 직접 만드신 자료의 퀄리티도 좋고 수업 때마다 재미있는 주제를 다양하게 준비해 오셔서 수업 시간이 항상 너무 빠르게 끝나 버리더라고요! 숙제 피드백과 수업 내내 이야기한 새로운 단어나 모든 내용을 꼼꼼하게 메모해서 보내주시는 것도 너무 좋고요. 그리고 선생님 성격은 밝고 따뜻하시기 때문에 수업 분위기가 아주 편하고 같이 이야기를 나누는 게 항상 즐거워요! 앞으로도 잘 부탁드립니다:) 오늘도 감사했습니다!
