I have been teaching Korean here since 2021. I taught Korean to Japanese and Hong Kong people as a volunteer for about three years. Of course, I still teach Korean to people in India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nigeria, and Japan from time to time. I will communicate with you through various everyday stories rather than focusing on grammar. I will also help you think and speak more in Korean by using pictures and objects around us. My goal is to make learning more fun and easier to understand. Sometimes, there will be homework, but if you don’t want to do it, that’s totally fine. You can do this! Don’t be embarrassed or worried about making mistakes. Everyone makes a lot of mistakes in the beginning. I’m also learning English, and I make mistakes too! I love the depth he goes to try to explain words in Korean including using puppets. Altho sometimes frustrating I do not always have the vocabulary I need to communicate certain thoughts I always come out of each lesson learning lots of words that will be very useful to me personally.

Only after one lesson, I was able to observe how Jung In Chan is extremely kind hearted, and friendly. I really appreciate his genuine enthusiasm towards not only teaching, but also learning languages in general, and I vibe with his laid-back approach. Not only were his explanations of grammar clear and easy to follow, but he continued to use the same grammar points as we continued our conversation, helping me to recall them in the moment.
