I have been tutoring people (mostly younger students) for approximately ten years now and I believe that this has given me a lot of experience. I try to create an open and friendly environment in which you do not have to worry about making mistakes. After all, we can only improve by making mistakes!

I believe that teachers should be flexible in order to best respond to their students’ needs. While I personally best respond to an informal teaching style, I do realize that some students respond better to a more structured teaching approach and I will do my best to accommodate this.

Lisa is a great german teacher. She has an excellent knowledge of german grammar and has been really helpful in explaining some of the more sticky grammar and usage points to me. We always have a really good time together and I enjoy our conversations. I would highly recommend Lisa as your new german teacher!

Lisa is one of the best tutors I've had thusfar. She's very attentive, gives excellent corrections (almost always in the form of a complete sentence, which is very valuable), and speaks near-native level English (C1 or better I'd estimate).
