In my classes, I put emphasis on dialogue, role-playing, reading and conversation. I teach individuals from all different cultural backgrounds and all ages. I can create a friendly environment where to feel free, confident and at ease to express oneself, to collaborate in class and to acquire the language fast.
I use the Total Physical Response method, otherwise known as TPR. I believe that learning by doing is the best and fastest way to help you speak a second language, because this method is focused on actions.

Miguel is a very experienced and professional teacher. I run a small development project in RD. Currently, Miguel teaches English to one of our Haitian employees. He is also helping me improve my Kreyol comprehension and conversational skills.
The effort he puts into preparing for each class, whether English or Kreyol, is impressive. He adjusts his teaching style to suit his students' individual needs.
I appreciate his written materials and he always sends a voice message with the "key phrases" from the lesson so I can listen to what we have studied.
I would absolutely recommend him for any level of student in English, French, or Haitian Kreyol. A first-class educator.
