I also pride myself on my listening skills and put a lot of work into my students’ confidence to speak. Because in my experience, if you really want to learn a new language, you have to speak it as much as possible!

Professionell Deutsch lernen mit Spaß und Struktur! Ich habe Phonetik, Linguistik und Psychologie studiert und meine Doktorarbeit über die Kognition von Sprache geschrieben. Ich unterrichte seit vielen Jahren im Einzel- und Gruppenunterricht, in Präsenz und online. Ich habe auch die Qualifikation als telc-Prüferin. I studied phonetics, linguistics, and psychology and wrote my doctoral thesis on language cognition. I have been teaching German for many years to individuals and groups—both face-to-face and online, privately and at the adult education center (VHS). I am a qualified examiner for the German telc certificate.

Notice: I am not taking classes with kids at the moment. I have had the background of tutoring people the language here and there for several years now. I believe the passion that I have towards teaching and tutoring has driven me more and more to become a mentor, communicator, and language coach. German teacher and influencer with over 6 years of teaching experience After trying out a great deal of methods and approaches as far as language learning, I started teaching on italki 5 years ago to pass on what I've learned through a lot of experimenting and language immersion. I have now lived in many different countries and each time immersed myself in the language and while this is a good approach, it is not enough on its own and its not a possibility for everyone. However, speaking to native people using video calls is possible for anyone. That's why I am happy to teach my native language on italki and pass on my knowledge.

However, the best method is useless if you lose motivation halfway, and even with a less efficient method you can be successful in learning a language if you have fun doing it.
