During my university years, I taught Korean to exchange students from different backgrounds and helped them achieve their goals. I usually correct their journals written in Korean and help them improve their conversational skills in formal and informal settings. I also taught Korean to adult learners who prepared for the TOPIK exam and they've got level 4-6 on that exam. I realized, however, that there is a huge gap between what I know and being a teacher to someone. That motivates me to study Second Language Acquisition deeply, so I took a lot of TESOL/TKSOL classes in college.
