I have an outstanding command of the Latin language, a keen understanding of Latin grammar and syntax, and a deep and meaningful knowledge of Hellenistic, Roman, and late-antique history. Rather than just being someone who happens to know a little Latin, I know both WHAT THE STUDENT NEEDS TO DO as well as WHAT THE TEACHER NEEDS TO DO in order to facilitate learning the language. I teach Latin and Ancient Greek by the natural method. I have been teaching by the natural method for three years online. The lessons are really practical (the students read, hear, speak, write in Latin and Ancient Greek.) and tend to gravitate around the main goal: acquire fluency to read the great classics. While most of my experience involves helping beginners learn to read Latin and Ancient Greek literature fluently, I've also tutored high school students with their studies, as well as assisted others with literature translation, grammar instruction, and conversation practice. I'm doing a PhD at Vatican Apostolic Library about archives; i've learnt English for 5 years (getting a C2 certification), Latin and Greek at school for 5 years (and then improved them at university) and I've been teaching Italian/ English for 8 years both to foreign students and local ones.
