I've worked as a tutor in a cram school for about 6 years and have much experience teaching students I've never worked as a Japanese teacher until today. However, I've done as a tutor in a cram school for about 6 years and have a lot of experience teaching many students Japanese, mathematics, English, science, and more as I said on my introduction video. Therefore, I'm very good at teaching and know so much how to keep students motivated!

Friendly &Flexible. にほんごをまなぼう、にほんごでまなぼう。 During my time in America, as a Teaching Assistant, I was teaching ‘history of cinema’ and practical ‘basic filmmaking ‘ to American college students. Also, I joined activities to teach Japanese culture and language to people. Since my returning to Japan, I have had many opportunities to interact with many local people from all over the world when I visit abroad for my job of movie making. Throughout these experiences, I have been feeling keenly about “the joy and difficulty of verbal communication. With this kind of experience, I can support and lead each student to learn Japanese language.

I do not teaching you, but do COACHING you as a native speaker and a language learner as well. A lot of people just study in solitude. But there's a huge gap between studying alone and actually speaking to a native speaker or somebody else. I consider myself is a friendly and patient coach (not a teacher^^), always trying to encourage learners to speak and practice more. Language is a skill, every skill is acquired through practice instead of other's TOO MUCH explanation. And now, I'm here ready to support & assist your study!

I have never liked boring lessons and I like dynamism, so I would define myself a teacher who likes that students can learn having fun and with joy. At the same time, I adore grammar and I think it is very important to study and internalize it in order to speak well a foreign language. Finally, during my classes I like to speak a little bit about culture of the language we are studying and to do some language structure’s comparisons which are very interesting to understand how languages work (a little bit of linguistics help).

Currently in Japan: Class hours may vary based on my location. I’m not big on studying per se. I believe we get good at what we are motivated to do. Language learning is not a simple process, and there are lots of ways to do it. If your focus is conversation and practical use, my lessons would be perfect for you. I do have teacher certification as a Japanese instructor. And I can also help explain passages and patterns in English. I will use conversation starters and textbooks to get you speaking, but your italki time is your time. We will talk about issues and do practical exercises that you are interested in.
