I hold a Master of Arts Degree in English Language and Literature. And I’ve been teaching English for 17 years. I spent four years in China teaching English and it was an amazing experience! Five years ago I started teaching Serbian online. I specialize in teaching General Serbian, all levels, to teenagers and adults and I focus mainly on speaking in classes.

TEFL Certificate I am not a professional teacher of the Serbian language, but I want you to learn as much as possible through communication. So far I have had the opportunity to work with beginners and intermediate level of knowledge. It would be challenging for me to work with advanced students. Through a conversation with a native speaker, you will learn a lot, especially about the culture of Serbia and phrases of the Serbian language.

Native Serbian teacher with 8 years of experience I have been teaching English for almost a decade now, I have started giving lesions back in middle school. The age of my students varied from as young as 5 to as old as 65, so I have experience with many different students in many different stages of life. I have taught Serbian to many foreign exchange students in Serbia, they were either an absolute beginners or they were advanced students who just wanted a bit of confidence in their skills.

As a teacher, I would like to describe my style as a FLEXIBLE one. :) In other words, whichever style works for you the most, I would be happy to accompany you on your journey. You can be a complete beginner in Serbian, we will start from the beginning. We can talk, we can laugh, we can play games and quizzes, we can have serious conversations and exchange opinions on general topics, we can learn grammar and sentence constructions, and so on. Of course, basic English knowledge would be advised before starting my classes, since we have to have a mutual language that we can both speak. :)

I have a Master degree in the English language and literature, with French being my second language, and I have amassed over six years of teaching experience. I have mostly been teaching online and working with people from different cultures, but I also have significant experience in teaching in actual brick-and-mortar schools. It is my belief that a language teacher does not only teach grammar and vocabulary, but also serves as a guide through culture and values of the people who speak that language. My understanding of English-speaking cultures helps me significantly while teaching English, and I cannot wait to present my own Serbian culture to students who want to learn our language.

I have ever since been passionate about helping others learn a language. During Master's studies, I taught a small group of students Spanish language at a Technical faculty. My first professional engagement was in a Belgrade high school and in a school for foreign languages. Besides the curriculum, I adapted the lessons to students' needs and strengthened the 'weak' skills. Furthermore, I am also proud of my students' progress in individual lessons.
