My background in International Relations allowed me to discover different cultures, but it was through teaching Spanish that I found my true passion. I speak Spanish, English, and French fluently, and I am currently learning Portuguese, Korean, Italian, and Japanese. This helps me better understand the challenges of learning a new language. In our classes, we will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, as well as grammar, pronunciation, and natural expressions used by native speakers so your learning experience becomes more realistic and useful in your daily life. Languages: Spanish (native), English C1, French C1, Portuguese B1. My classes are dynamic and interactive. We will learn Spanish through exercises, conversation, culture, music, and activities adapted to your level and goals. My courses go to everybody, it doesn’t matter the level of studies or the age, everybody can learn Spanish, So we can program our classes to have a flexible schedule for both parts. Amo viajar y realizo un trabajo voluntario que me permite ser adaptable a las diferentes culturas y costumbres . Me gusta mucho tomar en cuenta las limitaciones de cada estudiante. Me interesa que expresen sus necesidades y atenderlas lo mas pronto posible. Ayudo al estudiante a encontrar su propio ritmo de aprendizaje y me interesa que se sienta motivado a medida que va logrando sus metas de corto y largo plazo. Debido a que cada estudiante es distinto me interesa adaptarme a cada uno de ellos determinando qué método de enseñanza puede ser mas eficaz en cada caso. Tal vez para algunos sea más cómodo aprender con lecturas, sin embargo para otros la conversación y los medios visuales será mas exitoso. I am an expert in Latin American queer literature and culture. I am an official member of the Hyperpolyglot Association (HYPIA). My favourite singer is Fairuz, and my favourite poet is the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. I am passionate about Middle Eastern and South Asian languages, as well literature, linguistics, history, travelling, and more! The animal that describes me best is the parrot, since I am talkative and a great imitator! I take pride in welcoming the LGBTQ+ community and BIPOC communities, and I facilitate inclusion for refugees in the Montreal area. I have been teaching for over four years now, and I specialize in teaching French to immigrants. I have worked in the Chamber of Commerce of Montreal, in the "J'apprends le français" program, a program which allows small business owners and workers to learn French at their place of work. This program allowed me to perfect my teaching style, as well as appear on TV and podcasts to promote our approach. As of fall 2026, I also offer Spanish and English conversation lessons at a competitive price.
