I have been learning English for many years, but there are still a lot of new words wait for me to digest every day. Sometimes, I doubt that whether my way of learning English is right or not. I have tried my best to Learn this language. I spend as much time as I can on listening, writing ,speaking and reading. Each day, there are many great friends help me improve my English.I really thank for them. I am still not able to master this language. I always think that I just live in a bottle. I don't know how wide the outside world is. I climb up to get out of the bottle, but the bottleneck prevent me to climb up more. I fall off to the bottom again and again. Slowly, I lose my confidence. I reeally want my friends to tell me directly what should I do. I am an adult, also a parent. I like learning English. It's an important tool to understand the world, but it's really hard to learn.

I have been learning English for many years, but there are still many new words for me to learn every day. Sometimes, I doubt whether my way of learning English is effective. I have tried my best to learn this language. I spend as much time as I can listening, writing, speaking, and reading. Every day, many great friends help me improve my English, and I am really thankful to them. However, I still feel I haven't mastered this language. I often feel like I'm living in a bottle, unable to see how vast the outside world is. I try to climb out, but the bottleneck keeps me from making more progress. I fall back to the bottom again and again. Slowly, I’m losing my confidence. I really want my friends to tell me directly what I should do. I am an adult and also a parent. I like learning English because it’s an important tool for understanding the world, but it’s really hard to learn.
Short Tip: Focus on small, consistent progress and don’t be afraid to ask for specific advice from friends or teachers. Master one area at a time, like vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation, to feel more confident.

Wendy, it’s normal to feel a bit frustrated when you have the impression not to progress despite all of your efforts. You are really hard working but as Dan pointed out, it’s difficult to learn a language when you are not living among natives. Moreover, you have to deal with both your work and family life which makes your learning journey even more challenging. Your English level is far from being bad, you mostly make minor grammatical mistakes, you have a pretty good range of vocabulary and you mostly need to improve on your sentence structure (making slightly longer sentences using logical connectors or using the active voice instead of the passive voice for example). Try to vary the types of material you use: short podcasts, articles on various topics (adapted to your level, without too much technical vocabulary), you can even use test material (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL) just to challenge yourself a bit and monitor your progress. If you haven’t done it already, you can still seek for a language partner with at least C1 level so you’ll have the opportunity to practice speaking and receive a bit of feedback. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need more pieces of advice, I’ll be glad to help :). Take care Wendy.

Don't be too hard on yourself Wendy - it's nearly impossible to master a language when you don't live in a place where that language is spoken. And even though your writing may not be 'perfect', it's very good. You always write about interesting subjects and are capable of communicating complex ideas sucessfully.
