Hello Betty,

Not a whole lot of difference. For example, I work at home and I work from home are synonymous. To my ear (a Californian ear), "work from home" is more common.

Hope that helps.

Take care,

Work From Home or (WFH) is the generally used/accepted corporate terminology/jargon for companies that allow their employees to accomplish tasks related to their jobs from their homes. However other types of employment also allows the use of the phrase work from home- freelancers like myself also say this.

so you can say "I have a WFH arrangement with my company which allows me to accomplish what I would do in the office remotely. It allows me to work at home."

Work at home is now more of a descriptive phrase of what you do rather than the official terminology.

Work at home: when you do a job for yourself at home. For example: you buy and sell at home. Work from home: When you work for a company and you don't have to go to the office.
