Emotion is a feeling, rather if you are happy, sad, mad, confused and/or excited. These are emotions.
I would call it a "conflict in our relationship."
Now to answer your question I would take a shower and think about the situation, the world is not coming to an end. Try to go for a walk, sometime if we swallow(handle) our emotion to quickly we could choke (say the wrong thing, or resort in having another conflict/problem.
Yes. I would take a shower, or go for a walk clear your mind in a stress free environment. Think about your situation and deal with it in a positive manner. Their is so much stress in life, you want to stay clear of it! :)
