Why people attend universities The increase in tecnology and the possibility to take online courses as well as on campus clases has increase the number of students, these new possibilities to study a major and the many loans avaliable for it makes it now easier tan ever to enter university or collegue. Nowadays people first attent universities or collegue in order to learn about what they feel passionate about, hopping to have more quealifications and find better Jobs. Second they go to university for the experiencie, they want to meet people and learn a lot on the field they chose and third people go to collegue in order to make contacts, and acquitences that will later on in life help them. People go to universities because they really do like the field they are going to study, mathemathics, languages, arts. Whatever field they choose, they already made sure is the field they feel more passionate about, so they will enjoy learning about it. At Nariño university, there have been cases where students do not like the field they chose, once they enter to study it, but it is easy to change from one field to another one as long people realice what they really like early, usally the three first semesters are the threshold for studnts to determine whether they like it or not. So in order to learn and be at university students must like whatever they are studying, but also they feel that they will have job opportunities if they do well at university. It is common beliefe that if one goes to a good university for instance hardvar university, the more chances one will have to get a well paid job. In order to make this posible, students also get good contacts and letter of recommendation for their teachers, this helps them to have a better job and higly increases the chances to be succseful in the near future. In conclusion people go to university or collegues for many reasons, each person is different but the three commons reasons for going to university are, studying something one feels passionate about, go to university for considering it a good experiencia so they get to know people, and thirs because they can get letter of recomendation from their teacher, and meet new people that probably will help them to have a good job in the future.
