How do you introduce your job? --1 怎么介绍你的职业?---1

　　虽然我是个地地道道的中国人，有时候我还是觉得很难<strike>想</strike><font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">向</font>别人介绍自己的职业。为什么呢？因为<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">虽然</font>我的专业是与科学相关，可是我不能说我是科学家，或者化学家，因为在中国"某某~家"是指那些有着杰出贡献的人。<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">但</font>除此之外，也没有<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">什麼</font>简单、通用的名词可以描述<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">我所從事的工作</font>，比如老师<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">、</font>医生... ...。
　　所以今天我想说一下怎么用中文来介绍你的职业。我认为有三种情况。第一种情况<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">的</font>工作比较常见，用固定的名词<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">就</font>可以描述<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">正在從事的</font>工作。比如老师、医生、护士、军人。我们可以很简单的说：我是老师<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">、</font>我是医生<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">、</font>我是护士<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">、</font>我是军人。
  Though I am a native Chinese speaker(/ a Chinese to the core), sometimes I still feel difficult to introduce my job/career to others. <font color="#ff00ff">W</font>hy? That is because my job is about science, chemi<strike><font style="background-color: rgb(99, 99, 99);">c</font></strike><font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">stry</font>.<strike> But</strike> I can't say I am <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">a</font> scient<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">i</font>s<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">t</font> or chemi<strike><font style="background-color: rgb(99, 99, 99);">c</font></strike><font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">st</font> <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">in Chinese</font> as <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">I speak</font> in English <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">b</font>ecause in Chinese scient<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">ists </font>or chemi<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">sts</font> should be those who have maken lots of co<strike><font style="background-color: rgb(99, 99, 99);">u</font></strike>ntri<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">butions</font> to some field. How<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">ever,</font> there <strike>is</strike><font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">are</font> no general and easy words(addresses/ titles) for such<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);"> a</font> job<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">--</font>teacher<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">s</font>, doctor<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">s</font>, nurse<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">s</font>, sol<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">di</font>er<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">s,<em> </em></font><em>for example</em>.
  So<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">, </font>today I want to talk about how to introduce your job in Chinese. I think there are three situations.
  The first one: the job is common, and we have <strike>certain word</strike> <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">a </font><font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">specific address</font> for it, such as <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">a</font> teacher, <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">a </font>doctor, <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">a </font>nurse, <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">a </font>soldier<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">, etc. </font>You can say the same way in English: I am a teacher, a doctor, a nurse,  <font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">or a</font> soldier<font color="#ff00ff" style="background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);">.</font>
