He is a little bit ___ in his left ear, but if you speak clearly he will hear what you say. A. disabled B. deaf Note: How do you think about the sentence? Do you think people sometimes use “deaf” this way? I thought a person could either be deaf or not deaf. Maybe in reality there are several degrees of deafness?

Yes, you can be a "little bit" deaf, or "hard of hearing". Deafness comes in degrees or percentages of hearing loss. Total deafness is what you are thinking.

I guess they don't. Here an earlier post I found on italki explains this. http://www.italki.com/question/94565?answer-sorting=3

or do they say "what do you think of me"?

:) Thanks Jessica, do you think people say "how do you think OF ME"?

Yeah, in English we usually say "how are you?" or "how do you feel?". When talking about thoughts, it isn't "how are you thinking?", because this has a different meaning. We say "what are you thinking?" or "what do you think?" :)
