the differences among these words concur with correspond with unanimous with these phrases have similiar meaning(should I add "s"here??)...I don't know which one to use when I am writing.....

1. 'Concur with' means 'agree with'. eg I concur with the chairman. NB 'Concur' does NOT mean 'discuss'. I think that Belle is confusing this word with 'confer'. 2. 'Correspond with' can have several meanings, but I assume the one you are thinking of is 'to be in harmony with'. eg His actions did not correspond with his words. NB 'Correspond with' usually means to exchange letters, emails etc. Maybe the tie and shirt in Belle's examples send each other affectionate little notes from their respective wardrobes? 3. 'Concur' and 'correspond' are verbs. 'Unanimous' is an adjective, meaning 'of a single feeling'. The decision was unanimous. A tip: Why don't you get yourself a good English-English dictionary? This will give you all the explanations you need, plus some correct examples. And by the way, your question should be 'What is the difference between ...?' 3. Unan

concur with - discuss with (example: I will concur with my lawyer.) correspond with - match with (example: My tie corresponds with my shirt.) unanimous with - all people agree with (example: The vote was unanimous) [you don't need to use 'with' here] these phrases have similar meanings [there are more than one, so meanings]
